About

Manchester based artist collective Ultimate Holding Company were commissioned in early 2011 to provide a public art response to the sudden collapse of the Housing Market Renewal Pathfinder in Oldham and Rochdale.

Faced with the unusual situation of being asked to produce a lasting community artwork for people who (for the most part) simply weren't there, the artists have decided to make a piece which gives the money back to the town.

Anyone who feels touched by the Pathfinder, remaining residents, ex-residents, campaigners, ex-HMR and Council employees – all are invited to share the lavish spread, presented by the artists and procured from local independent grocers andtraders.

The afternoon will also see the unveiling of three new works of art, all commissioned locally, some of which will be available for free to guests to take away.

There is no need to book to attend, simply arrive between 1pm and 6pm on Sunday 5th June.

More news, updates and comment and be found by visiting the project's blog.
